Talking about LOVE

I want to know how others talk about Love without tooting your own horn? How do you write about it in such a way that one would bring glory to God and not to oneself?

I’m very aware of the inconsistency with which I post on this site. It depresses me sometimes. Recently, I have been thinking about Love. We need love every day and I can’t seem to post once a week. As a person who has been richly loved, pretty much on a daily basis, how is it that I can’t seem to communicate that message in writing. So many people are out there hungering and thirsting for love. Not a nod to love or to be loved but an everlasting love, that captivates the heart and nourishes the soul.

It is easy to roam around the internet and read a little bit here and a little bit there. Or peruse my book shelves, there is a lot to read about Love. Not sure where I will start or how to start? But at least I can say to all my readers, that I am thinking about it. And hope to come back real soon.

I would love answers for my questions. Please feel free to do so in the comment section.

Lots of Love, C.

First and foremost, I am a child of the Living God who is found as One God in Three persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. I have been married to the same man for over 25 years, together we have three adult children. I love my family and God’s and I know that both are trying to love me. Over my lifetime, I hope that I have also been a good friend, faithful citizen of the Kingdom, thoughtful, kind, open, and that I will continue to do so by God’s grace. If you were to look at my weekly calendar, you might describe my life as diverse so no one can stick me in the Christian box or the recovery box or any box for that matter. People don’t belong in boxes anyway. I am grateful to be human. I enjoy living in New England. I love a great game of golf, catching a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean, a good book, to write with pen and paper, fruitful conversations, to sing and dance, to walk. One of my signatures in this life is my laugh and I love to “sign.”
